Anchor

I've learned the time in ways I've never imagine

As a hurricane and as a breeze, easy come, easy go

I hold it with my fingertips, my nails and teeth

I always end up losing track of it and letting it go

Today I prayed to Neptune under the waves

Whatever mercy you have please have it on me

In these times of seeing the end as you begin

For my heart travels among rocky islands

Yes, I jumped on board

One vice to another, ready, set, go

Adrift swimming far from the shore

Seasick I keep swinging and swaying

And yet a voice keeps saying

Don't drop your anchor

It gets easier to read the water and the skies

If the story is written on the waves and thunderbolts

And my natural force lays with no remorse

As I become one with the wind, sky and the earth

One day I'll have conquered the lands and the sea

And the roaming won't be so scary anymore
