I'll never understand
how fast decembers come and go
They just tell the stories themselves
And we carry them in our ears
As months turns into years
And we barely see them go
I don't mind days going by
Like sand slipping through my grasp
Life has its way of solving itself
And if waiting is all it takes

I'll watch things getting better

Will be burning by the fire
Which is burning brighter

I wish I simply knew
The new colors seasons will bring
To paint an endless stream of sunrises
All I want is to recognize the skies
Watch it with new eyes
Not missing anything at all
