Shade In A Shadow

If you brought them the demise of the day
You go running to steal lint and ressurrection
If you gave them water bread and recreation
You go running to nurture your so called self

This is pain you don't wish pills will suffocate
This is light you take your shades to watch it shine

While they loudly wish
And they violently beg
And they irrationally scream
For the worst and anything more
While they devilishly laugh
And they cowardly hide
And they quickly keep
Everything you've done before

It tastes new but it's another day like today
Another wrecking line like it always has been
If you don't fight, it won't just look good enough
Your aversion for what eases the mind, but doesn't
bristles the skin don't know how dainty you are

This is right you wish you'd never lose it again
This is cliff you wish you'd freely fall forever

Just keep raging on in joy
Keep resisting to be invited
Keep your head down in excitement
Build a heart with plastic and glass
For the time it'd last it'll serve and end up bad
