Freedom

There's nothing I want most

Than to relearn time as my own

To see my faith reaching beyond

And unraveling in good will

I'm meant to relearn myself

In late thoughts of reinvention

Knowing them in full expansion

I crave a new heart to restart

My freedom is resolute

My freedom is absolute

Irreplaceable, non-negotiable

Insurmountable and unwavering

My freedom conquers all

My freedom breaks walls

It's not a dream I dare not dream

My freedom is everything

There's nothing I want most

Than the fullness of certainty

The mercy of understanding

That the best have been done

I'm meant to rediscover peace

And a brand new day to ascend

As I let go on all loose ends

Cause I don't have a choice

I didn't die when I thought I would

I could only go by the death I'd choose

My choice saved my life many times

I didn't clip my wings, didn't burn my ships

Made the best of what was made for me 

Never needed anyone to open my eyes

When I looked up to the sky
